One of the greatest Australian voices of all time, the iconic and inspirational Tina Arena, with an extraordinary career spanning 40 years and 10 studio albums, will be inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame at the 2015 ARIA Awards, held at The Star Event Centre on Thursday, November 26, 2015.
ARIA Chief Executive Officer, Dan Rosen, said: "On behalf of ARIA it is with great honour that we induct Tina Arena into the ARIA Hall of Fame on Thursday 26th November.
She first won our hearts as an eight year old on Young Talent Time, and went on to become one of the country's highest selling female artists. The longevity of her recording career is a testament to enduring talent and artistry. We are proud to see Tina take her place amongst the icons of the Australian music industry in the ARIA Hall of Fame."
Upon hearing the news of the ARIA Hall Of Fame induction, 6x ARIA Award winner and the first woman to ever win the ARIA Album Of The Year award twenty years ago in 1995, Tina Arena said, "What a thrill to receive this recognition for what has been an incredible journey so far. I look forward to sharing this milestone with my peers along with the Australian public."
To celebrate Tina Arena’s induction into the ARIA Hall Of Fame, ARIA and The Star have teamed up to unveil the inaugural ARIA Hall Of Fame Walk that will be on display at The Star from Thursday, November 5 until November 28.
